Embarking on Forward Thinking Assessment for Student Learning Progress and Development(Evidenced-Based Practice, Data-Driven Learning, Learning Experience, Learning Analytics

University Assessment Centre

To establish a centre for academic assessment and evaluation of student learning progress and learning outcomes. 

The Academic Assessment Division (BPA) and certain portfolio under the Curriculum Affairs Unit (UHEK) are currently undergoing restructuring towards the establishment of the University Assessment Centre. The University Assessment Centre is expected

Upskilling and Reskilling

1.To enhance staff competencies in developing, managing, and monitoring assessment and evaluation process.

2.To expose focus group with specific training and become agent of change at faculty and campus.

Staff training will be conducted in relevant areas of assessment to better equip them to handle expanding responsibilities of assessment in light of the drastic change in modes of delivery in the year of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Question Bank System (QBS)

To transform conventional method into electronic-based in developing and managing final examination / assessment.

More focus will also be put upon inputting exam questions into the QBS System so that it can be efficiently utilized by campuses nationwide when the time comes.
